Mopar SP225755AB is the OEM spark plug for the 3.6 in the JL and Gladiator, the same plug as Champion 9417 (type RER8ZWYPB4). It looks almost identical to the JK plug, which is exactly why people order the wrong one. The ceramic and ground electrode differ, so don't assume a JK box fits a JL.

Fitment

2018-and-later Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT with the 3.6 Pentastar. Confirm the number printed on your old plug. Always confirm the number on your old part or run your VIN at a Mopar parts counter before you order.

Rebuild, repair or replace?

Always replace, in a set of six. The layout matches the JK: the upper intake comes off to reach the driver-bank plugs. The JL torque table (18 N·m / 13 ft-lbs) matches the JK spec. Don't order a Champion 9407 for a JL and call it done. That's the JK plug. If the old plugs don't show the number clearly, go by your VIN at a Mopar parts counter.

Tip from the JK side that applies here too: while the intake is off, look at the oil filter housing in the valley for weeping oil. That's a known 3.6 leak point, and the same teardown reaches it.
