Mopar 68014948AA is the JK's front passenger-side power window regulator. It fails the same way as the driver side: the cable frays or a pulley breaks, so the glass drops, binds or grinds while the motor keeps running. Dorman's regulator-only 749-913 lists it as a direct OE cross.
Fitment
2007–2017 Wrangler and 2018 Wrangler JK, front passenger (right) door. Always confirm the number on your old part or run your VIN at a Mopar parts counter before you order.
Common failure symptoms
- Passenger window falls into the door
- Motor hums or clicks but glass won't move
- Grinding or snapping noise inside the door
- Glass moves crooked or slowly

Rebuild, repair or replace?
Replace the regulator. Both the Mopar part and the Dorman 749-913 are regulator-only, so you'll move your existing motor over. That's fine if the motor still runs strong. If the motor is weak or silent, check the switch and wiring first, then consider replacing the motor at the same time. Keep the glass taped up while the door panel is off. Use the matching driver-side part (68014949AA) if both sides are going.
The rear doors on a four-door JK Unlimited use different regulators. JeepPartsDeal lists 68018028AA for the rear passenger side and 68018029AA for the rear driver side, both described as manual regulators. Don't order a front part for a rear door. Dorman's 749-913 is built to be cycled thousands of times in a test door and bolts in with your existing hardware. Its listing notes that mounting hardware isn't included, so save the original bolts.
